Melting snowflake by ChaoticMind75 on Flickr.A través de Flickr: Finally, in Moscow was several good snowfalls, and i do some snowflake shots with external optics (used Helios 44M-5 lens from old camera Zenit, reverse mounted in front of Canon Powershot A650, shooting at maximum optical zoom, 6x). I shoot small series for each snowflake, hoping to average shots for better SNR, but, unfortunately, it’s still too warm, snowflakes melted just after they fall on the surface, and in each following shot they in different melting stages. It’s just single shot of small hexagonal plate in waterdrop. Glass background with backlight, november 2012. More snowflakes in set snowflakes and snow crystals.
